CDM - Construction Design Management 2007  

Advance Group UK has provided its clients with top quality advice and assistance since the introduction of the Construction Design & Management (CDM) regulations in 1994. One of the Company founders and current Director, with over 20 years experience within the industry, was involved in drawing up these key regulations.  Since its inception, the Company has continually developed its services, providing up-to-date expert advice, always adhering to the latest relevant legislation.

It is now a requirement for anybody who commissions a notifiable construction project to appoint a CDM Co-ordinator prior to the commencement of the site activities. Prior notification of this appointment must also be made to the Health and Safety Executive. Advance Group UK has extensive experience in assisting its clients in this process, and indeed through the entire project lifecycle; from inception to completion.

Over the last 10 years we have successfully co-ordinated numerous CDM projects. These have ranged from £50,000 to £7.9b in value and varied from two months up to four years in duration.

All of Advance Group UK CDM Co-ordinators hold recognised memberships and registrations with all key industry organisations including:

  • Association for Project Safety (APS)
  • International Institute of Risk & Safety Management (IIRSM)
  • Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH)

With a minimum qualification of:

  • RMaPS or equivalent
  • NEBOSH / British Safety Council Certificate or equivalent
  • NVQ level 4

Site Waste Management Regulations 2008

All our CDMCs can undertake Site Waste Management Plans in accordance with the Regulations.
